Cody McCarney, founder of DecodesAI

Cody is an Australian AI leader with a rare ability to move from boardroom strategy to working AI systems.

Previously, he worked as Head of AI at NextEd Group (ASX: NXD), where he founded the company's AI function and team, led enterprise strategy and governance, and drove a 1,000-seat ChatGPT rollout. He also founded their AI training function, which is now partnered with OpenAI as a Service Partner.

Across his previous consulting ventures, Cody advised organisations including Victor Smorgon Group and Nilsen Engineering. He has personally delivered AI training to more than 1,000 people and reached many more through his educational content.
